"Jordan was diagnosed just a few weeks before his third birthday with stage 4M Neuroblastoma. Jordan struggled to walk and extreme pain for months before he was diagnosed by the 4th doctor we took him to see. Jordan fought for just short of 3 years and defied all odds so many times. Jordan passed away at 5 years old on April 6th, 2022 from the side effects of chemo and cancer treatments. He is loved by so many but especially his mom and dad and 2 older brothers Skyler and Malik. Jordan always had a smile on his face with the sweetest voice. Jordan was the highlight of the nurses day with his one liners and blunt honesty!
We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to chat and meet Nevaeh’s Rae of hope. They were so amazing and kind and gave our family an opportunity to reconnect. One memorable moment was going to the beach, catching or watching fun ocean animals and feeling Jordan in every breeze.
You should donate because Nevaeh’s Rae of hope brings a family back together. After days, weeks, months or even years of putting most of your energy, time and emotions into your sick child you feel like you have nothing left for siblings or spouses. This trip gave us time to smile with each other, talk, cry and just reflect and reconnect."
